EBM making sense, a very interesting read, and the word for today is “baggywrinkle”…
So, yeah, it’s Holidaze season and time to be thinking about stocking stuffers.
Books are mostly what I lean towards and Dave Z and Anke’s “Sailing in Place: Our Life Afloat in Southeast Alaska’s Archipelago (Sailing Simple: Means and Mindset)” is a book anyone with a tilt towards a VolksCruiserish mindset would really enjoy. Another book I could not put down is John Pennington’s “Thicker Than Ice” recounting their Northwest Passage adventure. It’s one of the best cruising books I’ve come across in the last couple of decades and yes, it is that good.
More Stocking Stuffers
If your interests run to rigging, Zartman Rigging has an inexpensive ceramic rigging knife, as well as wire pullfids that would find a happy place in your rigging bag. If you’re new to Textile rigging you might also want to check out Zartman’s “Modern Splicing Handbook”, as I suspect it’s going to fill a real need and hopefully there will be a reindeer-delivered copy down here soonish.
