OK, I have a confession to make. I’ve never been a big fan of Lin and Larry Pardey.
That said, their books are a great resource and 91% of their cruising and sailing advice is spot on. Which, I hope you’ll agree is far better than most.
I mention this because one does not have to like someone to recognize when they get stuff right or admire their accomplishments. So I’ll continue to recommend their various common-sense based books on sailing and cruising, which some folks seem to think verges on the heretical.

By the way, I’d love to get my hands on this issue of Voile Magazine…
The Pardey’s were the You Tube couple of the 1980’s and 1990’s along with all their manufactured drama and half-truths. Sure, they did some good sailing, but there was a lot more to some of their story’s. You only have to Google them to find out.
