  1. The biggest issue with spray painting our yacht Ninky Nonk above was the extra time required compared to one colour. We sprayed five different colours over five days. Well worth the effort. Maybe a Volkscruiser option could be vinyl wrap offcuts? I just googled that option and you can buy 5 meters of random vinyl in Australia for $36.

      1. It is my own design. 10m x 3.5m x 0.7/1.7m with the swing keel down. The hull is two layers of 9mm plywood. 18 months part time building from 112 sheets of plywood to launching. She’s no speed machine but happily sits on 5 knots. The best bit is the flat bottom which allows us to sit on the beach everywhere.

  2. 112 sheets makes my eyes bleed! Nice job. Im coming back to shoal draft, most likely with a daggerboard. I still get the willys with a long slit in the bottom, but i might end up coming round to one of those semi exposed when raised that keep the hull bottom off. Pros n cons.
