A bit of good news, some very important points being made, and in the “Born in the USA” department…
So, it’s Sunday. Today’s bit of work is to rebuild a Whale foot-pump. There’s also some associated plumbing involved but I don’t think it will get out of hand.
That said, it’s a boat and things do have a way of getting out of hand.
Later in the week, I’ve promised myself to sort out and install the an outlet for the two tiller pilots that came with the boat. One works but the other may or may not. It may be just a fuse and I now have the needful fuses, so we shall see what happens.
There are still a couple of jobs I’ve been avoiding. My usual rule of thumb is to avoid doing a task until I have sorted out the correct fix. However, these days, I seem to be doing a lot of kludge fixes and the right way eludes me until I’ve made a right mess of things.
In the meantime, it’s a beautiful day. The sun is shining and the water is warm so an after-pump task swim beckons this afternoon.
So it goes…
