Penguin pairings, some needful travel accessories, and in the “let’s all just pretend it never happened” department…
I’ve been reading “The Gathering storm” by Alan Jones and it’s been slow going. Mostly because the book seems to be in tandem with the news. Considering that the book is about the rise of Hitler and the German fascist state in the early 1930s, the similarities are somewhat depressing as our current moral morass seems like a reflection of Hitler’s game plan.
That said, it’s a great book and I’m looking forward to the next two books in the Sturmtaucher Trilogy.
Oh yeah, there’s sailing in it as well…
