One of my favorite cruising books I’ve come across is Orca and if you have not read it you really should. I mention this because there’s a sequel “Thicker Than Ice” by John Pennington that’s even better.
Truthfully, I was not able to put the book down till I was finished and there are not very many books that will do that for me. I’d say more except I’d be sharing stuff you need to discover for yourself.
That being the case, I’ll also point you to the Pennington family’s YouTube of their recent voyage that is, just maybe, the best sailing video on that excretable venue of narcissistic pablum. While, well worth watching, I’d read “Orca” and “Thicker Than Ice” first and leave the video as a cherry-topped dessert treat.

Too late, I’ve already seen the video, and I agree, it’s one of the best, if not the best cruising vid.
I didn’t know about the books though, so I’ll look for those.
I like their style. Or could I say I like the cut of their jib.
